The Jochebed Education Project is a Christian, non-profit organization that was formed for the purpose of serving the Christian Community by providing Continuing Christian Education.
She is an example of faith in action. Jochebed passed her godly
heritage on to her three children, Moses, Aaron and Miriam (Exodus 2).
REMARKABLE WOMEN OF THE BIBLE
REBEKAH – “READY, WILLING AND ABLE”
“And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go.” (Gen. 24:58)
Rebekah was the daughter of Bethuel, sister of Laban, (Gen. 24:29), wife of Isaac, and mother of Esau and Jacob. When Abraham desired to find a wife for his son Isaac, he sent a servant to the city of Nihor in Mesopotamia to choose a bride from his kinsmen who had remained in the region after he and Lot moved to Canaan. In that city, the servant met Rebekah and persuaded her to return with him to become Isaac’s wife.
